After September 28th, Krafton will stop transferring Facebook data from PUBG Mobile to BGMI..
For those unfamiliar, Krafton enabled players who played PUBG Mobile before its prohibition in India to transfer their data, in-game goods, and other information to BGMI via Facebook when BGMI was released in India earlier this year. Of course, this is assuming that all participants shared the same account.
BGMI users will no longer be able to move their data from PUBG Mobile to their new BGMI accounts after September 28 owing to a policy change in Facebook's software development kit (SDK). Because of a recent policy change in Facebook's SDK, Android users will only be able to log in to Facebook using embedded browsers.
It's worth noting, though, that users who utilized Twitter accounts to log in or who play BGMI on the iOS platform will be unaffected by this policy change. Additionally, players who do not have the Facebook app installed on their smartphones will be unable to log in to their BGMI accounts after October 5.
Aside from that, Krafton revealed the winners of the BGMI Get Ready Jump event. There are 150 winners on the list, all of whom will get BGMI-branded items such as mugs, hats, mobile rings, wristbands, and bandanas. For reward distribution, the developers will contact the winners using the in-game mailing system.
Finally, Krafton said that between August 20 and August 26, it has banned approximately 195,000 accounts in BGMI for hacking and unethical behavior. Between July 30 and August 5, the firm banned over 336,000 accounts, and between August 6 and August 12, it banned over 181,000 accounts. The firm has permanently banned these accounts to allow other people to use them.
So, if you're a new BGMI player who logs in using Facebook, we recommend transferring your data from your old PUBG Mobile account before the data transfer procedure is disabled on September 28. To learn more about how to move your PUBG Mobile data to your BGMI account, see our detailed guide.
