Apple will have an event on September 14 to unveil the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, and other products.
Apple has officially revealed the debut date for its forthcoming iPhone 13 series, putting a stop to speculations and leaks. The Cupertino behemoth has dubbed the event "California Streaming" and has revealed that it would be a virtual affair live-streamed from its Apple Park facility. The event will take place on September 14 at 1 p.m. ET (or 10:30 PM IST).
Apple Has Announced a Streaming Event in California
Apple is anticipated to unveil several new items at the event, including the iPhone 13 series, Apple Watch Series 7, and potentially a new MagSafe charger. Although none of the following items have been officially announced by Apple, earlier reports suggest that they will be unveiled during the company's September 14 event.
Apple is believed to be releasing four variants of its next-generation iPhones, starting with the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 12 series will have a similar selection to the previous iPhone 12 series. According to previous speculations, the higher-end iPhone 13 Pro models would have 120Hz screens and reduced notches.

Apple is also expected to introduce a slew of new capabilities to its next-generation iPhone models. To begin with, the iPhone 13 series is likely to have larger batteries than the iPhone 12 models, as well as 25W fast charging. The business is expected to introduce a new portrait video mode as well as a new ProRes video recording format. The iPhone 13 series might be more expensive than its predecessors due to the continued chip scarcity and rising production costs.
Due to production difficulties, the new Apple Watch Series 7 models are expected to be available in limited quantities at first. The problems stem from the device's new flat-edge design and bigger dial widths of 41mm and 45mm. The Apple Watch 7 is also expected to include a body temperature sensor as well as Ultra-Wideband (UWB) capabilities.
Aside from the two devices mentioned above, Apple just added a new MagSafe charger to the FCC database. According to rumors, during the event, the firm may also introduce a new model of the MagSafe charger with stronger magnets and increased charging efficiency.
Following Apple's formal announcement, the company's SVP of marketing, Greg Joswiak, sent out a tweet confirming the California Streaming event. Please see the accompanying tweet for further information.
