With the introduction of the new Moto E40, Moto has increased its cheap smartphone options in India. The gadget has an IP52 certification, a Unisoc chipset, a physical fingerprint scanner, and other features.

Specifications for the Moto E40


The Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a brightness of up to 400 nits. It is powered by the Unisoc T700 octa-core chipset, which is clocked at up to 1.8GHz. The gadget includes 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It's worth noting that a microSD card may be used to extend the storage up to 1TB.

In terms of cameras, the Moto E40's 48MP triple rear camera system includes a primary 48MP sensor with pixel binning, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Moto has fitted the gadget with an 8MP selfie camera.

If you frequently use Google Assistant's AI capabilities, you'll love the device's dedicated Google Assistant key. It is uncertain whether the key can be remapped to do other functions. Meanwhile, for security, the E40 includes a hardware fingerprint scanner and facial unlock. And, sure, the 3.5mm headphone jack is still present.

The E40's 5,000mAh battery is good for up to 40 hours of use on a single charge. In terms of software, the smartphone ships with Android 11 out of the box, with no advertisements or bloatware.

The Moto E40 is available in Pink Clay and Carbon Gray. The gadget costs Rs. 9,499 in India. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart beginning October 17th at 12 PM.
