Reliance Jio has provided further data about the impending JioPhone Next ahead of its formal debut, confirming some of the speculated specs and features. In a recent press release titled "Making of JioPhone Next," the telecom giant stated that the smartphone will include a 13MP rear camera and run Pragati OS, a new Android-based custom skin.

On YouTube, a recent press release was released along with an educational film. The same-named video explains how the JioPhone Next was created and what the firm hopes to accomplish with it in India.

It comprises interviews with executives from Jio, Google, and Qualcomm who describe the characteristics of JioPhone Next. The device's anticipated 5.5-inch HD+ display is shown in the video, along with pre-installed Google and Jio apps. Aside from that, the video indicated that the JioPhone Next will be equipped with a Qualcomm processor. It did not, however, identify the name of the chip that will be used to power the device.
