Japan Breaks Internet Speed World Record | Highest Internet Speed
Hello readers, welcome back to my site today I have amazing news for you all. As we are gradually moving towards the digital society with the help of so many modern and internet-based techniques. but In this series, one need is becoming so important: "High internet speed". Giant tech companies like Facebook are trying to increase the speed of the internet in all areas with the help of robots.
Japan 4 core Optical fiber:-
but now Japan recently broke the world record for the highest internet speed ever recorded. Researchers of the National Institution of Communication and Technology (NICT) in Japan have recently developed a new 4 core optical fiber that can deliver internet speed up to 319 terabytes (TB) per second.
And of course, this is really almost double than the previous internet speed record i.e 178 TBps which is made last year in August.
The researchers just released a press release to publicize their accomplishments. “It has developed a protracted-distance transmission system around a four-core optical fiber with the desired cladding diameter to take advantage of larger transmission bandwidth,” according to the news release. The fiber optic connection was updated with four cores by the researchers. For those unfamiliar, ma is a well-known internet cable.
The researchers also highlight that even when information and data were delivered across large distances of up to 3,001 kilometers, the internet speed did not decrease or slow down. However, the researchers used coiled cabling to replicate the long-distance system in the lab.
What you can do with 319 TB of internet speed:-
Now come to the point, all of you are definitely thinking that what we can do with this high-speed internet. So I have a brief idea that can solve your confusion.
According to the latest updates from the japan researchers notes, you can download more than 7000 HD movies in only one second with 319 TBps speed.
So according to my imagination, we can download almost a full library of Netflix movies in under one second because it only contains 3,781 movies (according to RealGood).
The 4-core optical fiber, on the other side, had not been created by the researchers to allow you to download whole libraries of movies and TV series. They point out that the high-speed internet network was designed to send large volumes of important data over great distances.
Furthermore, the researchers state that the 4-core optical fiber technology requires further development before being used in the real world. Furthermore, building such a network on a big scale might be rather costly. The good news is that the new 4-core lines will fit within "standard cladding," implying that they will be supported by existing infrastructure.
Conclusion:-
As a result, the researchers will continue to develop the new system in the future. Nonetheless, it will be some time before such high-speed internet becomes commonplace in the real world. And when that day arrives, you'll be able to download all of your favorite movies, TV shows, and games in no time.
