2 minute read

As we all know that Google is adding new and exciting features in the chrome of android devices day by day. And in this series, the tech giant has added many new features in the chrome of android devices such as an inbuilt screenshot option in the browser. But now the new feature which I am going to tell you is more amazing and useful. So without any delay let's get started.

So the name of this new feature is "Continuous search navigation". Yes, this feature was recently added below the URL bar this feature shows you the related results of your search and the website or webpage you opened.

It helps you to switch between the web results without going back to the search engine.

Although according to the 9to5Google update this feature is currently available for the devices that owned chrome version v91.0.4472.120.

But let me tell you that this feature is hidden in the chrome experimental flags so if you want to use it you have to enable it manually.

So without any delay let's go through the steps.

1. Firstly make sure you are using the latest version of chrome.

2. Now open the chrome in your phone and type - chrome://flags.

3. After that type, the " continuous search navigation " in the page's search bar opened in front of you.

4. Then change the default option to enable there and relaunch your chrome.

 5. Now you will see a new search option below the URL bar of chrome.

After the feature is enabled in your phone you will a new sidebar scrolling search result below the URL section.

Now come to the main point that this feature is available only for android users so iOS users can't see this feature presently. In the future chrome may provide this feature to iOS users also.

Conclusion:-

Moreover, 9to5Google also describes that Google will roll out this feature slowly on android devices so it may possible that this feature is already available on your phone. If it is then congratulations. and don't forget to share your experiences about this feature in the comment box.
