Tesla Is Close to Launching in India; Four Models Have Been Approved...
If you haven't been living under a rock, you are aware that Tesla has long desired to introduce its sophisticated electric vehicles in the nation. Tesla has been testing its vehicles in India to make them launch-ready, despite the company's CEO Elon Musk complaining about the country's high EV import charges. In fact, numerous Tesla cars have recently been seen being tested on Indian roads.
According to recent reports, India's centrally-controlled vehicle regulator, Vahan Sewa, has given the green light for all four Tesla car types to be launched in the country. The models were authorized by the authorities through the homologation procedure, which certifies automobiles as road-ready after satisfying the required requirements. Although there is no proof, the rumor mill says that the four authorized vehicles are most likely Tesla Model 3 and Model Y versions.
There is no information on when Tesla EVs will be available in India or how much they will cost. However, now that the Tesla vehicles have been authorized for production, the firm is unlikely to postpone the introduction much further. So, in the following weeks or months, we may expect to see Tesla automobiles on Indian roads.
