The Great Indian Festival holiday season deal has been launched by Amazon. It begins on October 4 and will run for one month. As is customary, Prime members will get first access to all attractive discounts and deals. The deal comes only a few days before Flipkart's Big Billion Days event, which begins on October 7.

The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2021 Date Has Been Announced

According to Amazon, the Great Indian Festival this year will showcase over 75,000 local merchants from 450 locations throughout the country to promote small and medium-sized enterprises. It will also feature Amazon merchants' items from Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli, Amazon Karigan, and other prominent global and Indian brands.

Notably, prominent manufacturers such as Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Sony (PS5), Microsoft (Xbox), Apple, Boat, Lenovo, HP, Asus, and Fossil are expected to release nearly 1,000 new products.

In terms of promotions, you will receive a 10% immediate discount on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, EMI transactions, no-cost EMI on debit and credit cards, and Amazon Pay Later. Customers may also save up to Rs.5,000 throughout the sale season by using Amazon Pay to make daily purchases.

This year's Great Indian Festival is a celebration of the tenacity of small and medium-sized businesses. “We are humbled by their passion and pleased with the chance to cooperate and allow their growth, particularly in light of recent obstacles resulting from the pandemic,” said Manish Tiwary, Vice President, Amazon India.

Amazon claims to have extended its fulfillment network by boosting storage capacity by 40% to meet anticipated increased demand. The firm has over 60 fulfillment locations in 15 states and offers merchants 43 million cubic feet. Amazon is also extending its delivery infrastructure, claiming almost 1,700 Amazon-owned and partner delivery stations as well as nearly 28,000 ‘I Have Space' partners.
