Facebook has unveiled Ray-Ban Storie's smart glasses, after a partnership with Ray-parent Ban's firm EssilorLuxottica in September last year. Specifications for Ray-Ban Stories on Facebook
Ray-Ban Stories' main feature has to be its cameras. Dual inbuilt 5MP cameras allow you to easily capture videos from a first-person perspective. With the capture button on Ray-Ban Stories, you can shoot photographs and record up to 30-second movies. You may also utilize voice commands with Facebook Assistant. Yes, there is a Facebook voice assistant aboard, and you can just say, "Hey Facebook, take a photo" or "Hey Facebook, shoot a video" to take a picture or video. The glasses include an LED light in them (above the camera) that lets people know you're shooting a photo or video.
These glasses have a three-microphone array and open-ear speakers for calls and media consumption. Facebook claims to have employed a background noise suppression algorithm to improve the calling experience by reducing background noise. Ray-Ban Stories works in tandem with the Facebook View companion app to allow you to import, modify, and share content taken with the smart glass.
Ray-Ban is including a charging case with these glasses for on-the-go charging. A fully charged case will give you an extra three days of use. It takes an hour to fully charge the glasses, and you get almost six hours of moderate use.
